Sandy toes, wet shorts and so many giggles.
This extended family photography session on Ogunquit Beach was so much fun to document.
We waited until golden hour for soft, lovely light and then let the kids run wild! We splashed, chased each other and breathed in that incredible salty air you only enjoy at the beaches of Southern Maine.
At this age you really can't approach family portraits looking for perfection. Most children just aren't going to settle long enough for those studio perfect portraits so parents...DON'T STRESS.
My beach photography sessions focus on the joy of today. I'm guessing your daily lives don't include perfectly pressed shirts, quiet, angelic children and activities that go exactly as you planned. At least mine don't.
But there is so much joy in the messy and silly moments that are part of life right now.
